OVERVIEW
With mysterious beauty, My Son Sanctuary is one of the most unique tourist destinations in Quang Nam province, it is attracting thousands of domestic and foreign tourists visiting each year.
My Son Sanctuary is an ancient temple towers relic of ancient Champa culture. Thanks to the architectural and cultural values, this place was recognized by Unesco as a World Cultural Heritage in 1999.
After Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Sanctuary is a second World Cultural Heritage of Quang Nam province.
It is will be great to visit My Son Sanctuary on the occasion of Kate festival taking place in July each year according to the Cham calendar. This is one of the biggest traditional festivals of the Cham people, held to commemorate the gods and ancestors who have blessed and maintained peace, good luck, good rain and wind.
At the beginning of the festival is a ritual of praying for peace taking place right at the relic area, followed by rituals of procession, performance of ancient Cham dances, traditional folk songs, and musical instruments of the Cham people like Paranung drums, Saranai, rattles, horns and erhu.
Besides the traditional festival, the Cham dance is the precious spiritual culture of My Son Sanctuary, it is attracts many visitors when coming here.
Nowaday, The Cham dances are used in performing arts serve for tourists. But in the past, these were dances performed only in traditional festivals.

Hoi An - My Son Sanctuary 1 day tour
08:00 - 8:30 our car and tour guide pick you up at hotel in Hoi An ancient town and departing for My Son Holy Land
10:00 Arriving at My Son, enjoy performance traditional dance of Cham people.
After that, You will visit a spiritual center of the ancient kingdom of Champa. Situated in the heart of a beautiful valley and surrounded by high mountains. It comprises of many Champa temples, in a valley roughly two kilometers wide, surrounded by two mountain ranges. It was the site of religious ceremony of kings of the Champa dynasty, and was also a burial place of Champa royals and national heroes of Champa kingdom. Though the complex has been destroyed over time, there are still many majestic ancient ruins of temples in the area.
12:00 Returning back to the bus and traveling to a dock. Boarding a boat and leisurely cruising back to Hoi An on Thu Bon River while having a light lunch
14:00 Arriving at Nguyen Hoang pier at ancient town.
