ITINERARY
NIGHT 1: Hanoi - Sapa By Train
20:30 Our car will pick you up at your hotel in Ha Noi old town then transfer to Ha Noi Train Station. You make procedures to board the night train to Lao Cai, over night on board with standard 4-person compartment, wood paneling, air conditioning.
DAY 1: Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B/L/D)
05:30 - 6:00 Arrival at Lao Cai Train Station. Our tour guide will welcome you and being transferred to Sapa by a shared bus. The ride uphill to Sapa takes a little over an hour and will give you a first glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces.
On arrival at the hotel in Sapa, enjoy an early check-in if the room is available, otherwise in the interim, you will have access to a basic room for refreshment before having breakfast.
09:30 Start the day with 6km of walking down to the Southeast of Sapa along Muong Hoa Valley to Y Linh Ho village, the home of the Black H’mong. Then, you will continue walking for another 3km down to Lao Chai village. Stop at the village for lunch. After lunch, continue trekking through the rice terraces to Ta Van village of the Tay minority. This trek is relatively easy although the trail can be quite slippery if it rains. For that reason, good footwear is recommended.
18:00 Check in to the homestay in Ta Van. Experience the rustic lifestyle of the local and enjoy the sun setting in the mountainous region. In the evening, enjoy the local bar nearby or socialize with other tourists then overnight at homestay.

DAY 02: Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Su Pan - Sapa (B/L/D)
09:00 After having had a restful night and enjoyable breakfast, it is time to take an 8 km walk to visit 2 villages of the red Dzao people, the H’mong who are located in Giang Ta Chai.
Su Pan villages situated at the edge of Muong Hoa Valley, Giang Ta Chai is gaining popularity as one of the most scenic and interesting locations for visitors who enjoy experiencing the colorful traditional customs and costumes that are always on show here. While Supan is considered as a less travelled and more withdrawn village because of its small population base.
11.00 Trek through the Giang Ta Chai Bridge to main road, bus picks you up to come back Sapa Town.
11:45 having lunch with delicious Vietnamese dishes before check in 3 star Hotel in Sapa town.
In the afternoon: Free time at Sapa town. Have dinner in your hotel. Over night in Sapa town.

DAY 03: Cat Cat village - Sin Chai (B/L)
After breakfast around 9:00. We start explore the village a little bit further to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. This trek offers some stunning views of the waterfall and the vestige of a hydro-electric power station which was built in the early 20th century. Also here you will have the opportunity to see the villagers working on the paddy rice fields, their children playing around, and the animal such as water-buffaloes, pot-bellied pigs and chickens. After crossing a village, you will arrive at the picturesque waterfall which is an ideal place for resting & taking pictures. Enjoy your lunch and the mountainous scenery.
Later, continuing to hike to Sin Chai village (3km) that situated on the bottom of Fansipan Mountain, also well-known as the roof of Vietnam and Indochina. There you will enjoy huge stunning landscape before heading back to Sapa Town.
17:30 The bus will pick you up at hotel then transfer to Lao Cai Train Station.
Have dinner in Lao Cai town before checking in to the night train back to Hanoi (Dinner fee pay by yourseft). Over night on board with standard 4-person compartment, wood paneling, air conditioning.
Early the next morning. Train comming to Hanoi station.
End of tours!

17:30 The bus will pick you up at hotel then transfer to Lao Cai Train Station.

Early the next morning. Train comming to Hanoi station.

- Old people should not attend the long trek (9 kms) due to its challenge and danger in case of rain.
- Handicapped people and children under 6 years old should not attend this tour.
- Homestay is totally different from hotel due to its basic and simple facilities.
- Warm clothes, scarf, hat, cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March
- Due to altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February and March.
- Trekking shoes, sun glasses, sun cream, insect repellent are also necessary. You should take cash with you in Vietnam Dong because banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollar, Euro, Australia Dollar are accepted in Sapa.
